St Mary's Dominates In Early, Keeps Rolling

On a frigid night in Calgary, the basketball court at Glenmore Christian Academy witnessed an electrifying showdown between the Olds College Broncos and the St Mary's Lightning. The gym, warm and packed to capacity, set the stage for a good night of basketball. However, the first half unfolded as a one-sided affair, with the Lightning dominating the Broncos with an astonishing 50-8 lead at halftime.

The Lightning showcased their electric prowess right from the start, storming through the first quarter to establish a commanding 23-2 lead. The intensity of their play continued throughout the game, culminating in a resounding 80-21 victory.

Player of the game honors went to Adit Deng, who delivered a stellar performance with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks. Impressively, all nine Lightning players contributed to the scoring, and every player secured a rebound, highlighting their collective strength and teamwork.

With this dominating win, the Lightning secured a playoff spot in the south division, setting the stage for an exciting final week against Landland and Keyano at home.
