The NAIT Ooks fired absolutely everything at Olds College Broncos goaltender Cienna Kinghorn, and the Ooks left the Town of Olds Sportsplex with a 3-0 win on Thursday night.

All told, Kinghorn made 61 saves for the Broncos (0-1-2) to earn Player of the Game honours, while Sidney McMullan took care of business at the other end for NAIT (3-0-0), stopping all 23 shots she faced for the shutout.

Supplying the offense for NAIT were Player of the Game Darby Robertson, Michaella Kibblewhite and Halle Graham.

NAIT applied pressure on the Broncos from the opening puck drop, though Kinghorn stood tall in the Olds College net to hit the first intermission scoreless despite the Ooks outshooting the Broncos 23-8.

The Ooks would finally break through just over five minutes into the second period, as Robertson took a rebound off a Bre Martin shot and put it past an outstretched Kinghorn to make it 1-0. Kibblewhite then doubled the advantage four minutes later, taking a drop pass from Cheyanna Harden and going over Kinghorn's glove shoulder to put NAIT up 2-0 through 40 minutes.

Graham then wrapped up the scoring five minutes into the third, finding a loose puck and backhanding it past Kinghorn at the top of the crease.

Next up, the Ooks will host the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens on Nov. 4 at 7 p.m., while the Broncos will have a bye week before resuming their regular season in Red Deer on Nov. 12.
