The host Lethbridge College Kodiaks knew any chance of staying alive in the playoff picture was dependent on a win over Lakeland College and the Kodiaks turned in an effort worthy of the pressure. Paige Gattafoni stopped every shot she saw and Christine Moser had a hat trick to lead the Kodiaks to a 4-0 victory. With the win, the Kodiaks improve to 2-1 and can guarantee themselves at least a tie-breaker spot with a win in their final game. The Rustlers finish the tournament at 1-3 and will not make the playoffs.
