King’s Eagles strong second half defeats Voyageurs.

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Aimee Tiemstra's two goals, the King's Eagles defeat the Portage College Voyageurs 3-1 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Friday night. Lexa Steenhof also scored for the King's Eagles while Ashley Tweedy responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the King's Eagles record to 1-0 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-1. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

 

Player of the Game for the King's Eagles was Aimee Tiemstra and for the Portage Voyageurs it was Ashley Tweedy.
