NWP Wolves triumph over the Voyageurs

LAC LA BICHE – Led by Arianna Payne's two goals, the Northwest Polytechnic Wolves triumph over the Portage College Voyageurs 6-2 at the ACAC Futsal North Regional at the Bold Center Sunday morning. Tea Brown, Medea Chiba, Gabby Cavezza and Meghan Belicki also scored for the NWP Wolves while Ashley Hennenfent and Ashley Tweedy responded for the Portage Voyageurs. The result brings the NWP Wolves record to 1-3 while the Portage Voyageurs fall to 0-4. The top three teams from the weekend's action will qualify for the ACAC Championships March 10-12 in Fort McMurray.

Player of the Game for the NWP Wolves is Khloe Webber and the Player of the Game for the Portage Voyageurs is Miriam Kabonesa.
