In a tight one-goal battle, the NAIT Ooks prevailed against the Medicine Hat College Rattlers by a 3-2 score Friday at the 2023 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women's Futsal Championship at the Syncrude Sport and Wellness Centre in Fort McMurray, Alta. 

The Ooks did all their scoring in the first half as Rayna Hamieh scored twice and Payton Boyne also found the back of the net. 

Scoring twice, the Rattlers received goals from Rowan Prud'homme in the first half and Maisa Rebello in the second half. 

Putting forth a furious charge at the end, the Rattlers pressed the Ooks, but the third-seeded team from the North Division was able to fend off the late charge. 

Earning Player of the Game honours for the Rattlers was Rebello while Hamieh took the honours for the Ooks.
