Trojans defeat Rustlers 2-0

The SAIT Trojans defeated the Lakeland Rustlers 2-0 Sunday afternoon in Lloydminster. 

The Trojans controlled the ball for most of the first half, with the ball nearly always staying in the Rustlers defensive end. The Trojans had plenty of good scoring opportunities, but Rustlers goalkeeper Keira Sunderland came up with some big saves. At the half, the teams were tied at zero. 

The Trojans remained in control of the ball for much of the second half. The Rustlers did a better job of clearing the ball from their end and put themselves in a better scoring position. The Trojans had lots of chances to score, but were unable to find the back of the net until the 84th minute. The Trojans added a second goal just minutes later, giving them the 2-0 win.
