EDMONTON AB – In today's Sunday afternoon game, the Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder, took on the Portage Voyageurs. The Thunder were able to place their shots and walked away with a 15-0 win.

The Thunder were dominant since the opening kick, scoring early and holding on to their lead with ease. The field seemed slanted in favour of the Thunder, their passes were crisp and they continued to apply pressure and shoot from all angles, allowing them pull away in such a prevailing fashion. Rebecca Leavall lead the game with 10  shots on net and 5 goals for the Thunder.

The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Voyageurs was #16 Breall Young and for the home team, #4 Sara Hrywkiw who contributed 4 goals and 4 shots on net.
