Even though jackets and blankets were needed the fans gathered to watch the faceoff between these two teams. Both Vikings and Queens started the game this sunday full of determination. Fighting against the other team and the weather the vikings didn't have their spirits as high as normal. #9 Coules made the first goal within the first 15 minutes of the game. and the second, 15 minutes later with an assist from #6 Galloway. Despite wise words at half, from Head coach McManus, vikings couldn't manage to get a shot in. #9 scored again in the second half allowing her to have made all three of red deers goals. After a cold 90 minutes the game ended with a score of 3 nil for RDC. #6 Galloway for RDC and #3 Gisi for UAA got players of the game.
