NWP Wolves showcased their new look today as they hosted the Lakeland Rustlers, the first game with a new logo and new colour.

NWP came out strong and excited to get the season under way. The Wolves came out strong and ready to battle. The first half would see a few shots on net, however the score remained 0-0 after 45 minutes.

2nd half was back and forth, as both teams battled hard to find the back of the net. At 59 minutes #9 Megan Hockley scored for the Rustlers. That would be the final score. 1-0 for Lakeland.

Player of the game for the Lakeland Rustlers was #11 Annika Brown and for the Grande Prairie Wolves #10 Mariah Kyllo.

Both teams are back in action tomorrow at 11am at CKC field.
