Rattlers drop a close game 2-1 to the visiting Vikings

It was a beautiful, sunny fall afternoon as the Medicine Hat College Rattlers welcomed the Augustana Vikings to town in ACAC women's soccer action.  The Rattlers jumped out in front in the 6th minute when Maisa Rebello found the back of the Vikings net.  Emma Sahcko pulled that one back for the Vikings in the 30th minute.  The first half ended with the teams tied up at 1.  The teams came out of the break looking for the lead and the Vikings finally found it in the 58th minute when Hanna Boyce gave Augustana the lead.  Furious action and several chances in the closing minutes were not enough as the Vikings held on for a 2-1 victory.  Goalkeeper Sofia Ovcharenko was the player of the game for the Vikings, while Kaydence Dulle-Goller was player of the game for the Rattlers.
