EDMONTON, ALTA. - The NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team lost to the Concordia Thunder 3-2 on Friday night in the NAIT Gymnasium.

The Ooks came out strong winning the first set 25-15, but the Thunder bounced back taking the second 25-21, tieing the match at one set a piece. NAIT would continue the back and forth trend as they took the third set 25-10. Concordia battled back with a 25-23 victory in the fourth set to tie the match 2-2 sending it to a fifth set. In the final set, the Thunder would come out on top 16-14 taking the match 3-2.

Player of the game honours went to Alexis Anderson for the Ooks and Tanielle Yacey for the Thunder. 

The two teams will now rematch tomorrow night at 6:00 pm at Concordia.
