The Wolves host the University of Augustana Vikings for the second game of the weekend series. The Vikings won in 5 last night so the Wolves were ready for revenge.

The 1st set was close. Both teams rallied back and forth exchanging points, with some big blocks and kills at the net.  The Wolves pulled away 22-18 to a Vikings timeout. The Wolves sealed the win with a net serve from the Vikings, 25-19.

Right into the 2nd set both teams fighting hard. It was a back and forth battle at the net. The Vikings had some big kills near the end of the match to finish 25-22.

Going into the 3rd set tied at 1. Back and forth the entire set, exchanging points. The Vikings make a substitution with the game tied at 19. Vikings up by 1, 21-20, the Wolves make a substitution. The Wolves start to rally back, at 22-23 Vikings, they call a timeout. Vikings came out of the timeout fired up and ready to finish the set, done 25-22 for the Vikings.

Vikings lead 2-1 going into the 4th set. It was all Vikings as they took a big lead and continued leading until the set ended 25-13.

The Mr. Mikes Player of the Game for the GPRC Wolves was #7 Leah Friesen with 16 kills, 6 digs and 2 service aces. The Mr. Mikes Player of the Game for the University of Alberta Vikings was #1 Sydney Leslie with 8 kills and 12 digs.
