Wolves welcomed the NAIT Ooks to the gym for a second game of a weekend series Saturday afternoon. The Wolves were hungry for a win on day 2.

GPRC came out strong in the first match to take the lead early. #3 Megan Fowler had 4 big kills for the Wolves half way through the match. NAIT called a timeout at 21:17 and came out to score 2 big ones. Wolves rally back and take the match 25:22.

2nd match scoring was opened by the Ooks. GPRC tightened up the defense and went up 10:6 before NAIT called a time out. The Ooks looked to gain some points from their outside hitter and went up 22:20. Wolves closed in with some offense to make it 22:22 when Leah Friesen served out of bounds, Ooks up by 1. Wolves called time out. Ooks finish the match 25:22.

3rd match scoring was opened by the Ooks. Mia Hildebrandt started the serving with 2 points. Wolves were relentless and continued to put the pressure to Ooks. They ended the match 25:16 and lead 2:1.

4th match was back and forth. Both teams battled hard at the net and were leading back and forth throughout. NAIT took the match at 25:22 and the game is tied at 2.

It was all Ooks the first half, the switch was at 8:5 NAIT. Wolves had some big points and came back within 2, 9:11. It was not enough as the Ooks took the match 15:11 and the game 3:2.

Player of the Game for the NAIT Ooks was #12 Julia Donnelly with 7 kills and 7 digs. For the GPRC Wolves #3 Megan Fowler with 7 digs and 20 kills.
