Concordia and GPRC played the second match in as many days.

The game starts off both teams going point for point. Thunder starts to bring in the heat swinging the score 7-4. The first set was very close, #7 Leah Friesen and #9 Tianna Smith led their teams with 4 kills each. The Wolves took the first 25-22.


Concordia bounced right back, winning the second set 25-18. GPRC continued to be aggressive at the net, but Concordia showed no signs of letting up. A back and forth 3 rd set went the way of the Wolves, 25-22.

The 4th set had long rallies and the points went back and forth. It was the Wolves that get the win, 25-20, to win the match and get the weekend sweep.

With the win, the Wolves move to 6-10 in the ACAC North and have a solid hold on the 4th playoff spot up for grabs in late February. The Thunder move to 2-14 on the season.

Player of the Game for Concordia Thunder was #9 Tianna Smith and for the Wolves it was #12 Mckenna Wolstenholme.
