Set 1

Keyano 25 Grande Prairie 19

Wolves open strong with veteran Megan Fowler leading at the service line up 11-5. Great rally with Wolves earning the point 12-8. Huskies setter Jamie Stokes starts finding Amber Francis with back-to-back kills. Huskies tie it up 14-14. Francis big time BANGO to give Huskies 21-19 edge. Wolves' timeout down 19-23.

 

Set 2

Keyano 16 Grande Prairie 25

Huskies struggling on attack. Head coach Kira Sutcliffe takes a timeout down 9-1. Huskies regroup to outscore their rivals 9-5 with Wolves taking a timeout lading 16-10. Wolves Lana Matthews pounds the ball to the ground to make it 20-12 as Huskies coach takes her second timeout of the set.

 

Set 3

Keyano 25 Grande Prairie 14

.Huskies playing solid at the net, taking the Wolves errant hits and blocking them down to an open court. Wolves take timeout down 17-10. Huskies Lauren Huntley having a strong game.

 

Set 4

Keyano 23 Grande Prairie 25

Teams exchanging points with no one team running away with a lead.  Tied 9-9, Wolves open the spread to 14-10 with Huskies timeout called. Service ace by Huntley brings the Huskies close 20-21.  We are going to fifth set.

 

Set 5

Keyano 15 Grande Prairie 9

Early long serves by both sides reward easy points. Huskies going with subs; outside hitter Jersey Switzer and setter Mackenzie Stokes who came in late during the match. Wolves timeout down 9-11. Huskies four points away from a match win. Two huge digs off spikes by libero Raisa Stokes.
