The GPRC Wolves hosted the Augustana Vikings in their season Home Opener. The first game in over 20 months, it was an exciting evening. We opened the night with a land acknowledgement, a prayer from GPRC Elder Teresea Gladue and the singing of O'Canada in Cree.

Wolves battle hard in the first set, lots of great rallies. Vikings take the first set 25:22.

It was tough second set for the Wolves. It was all Vikings as they take the set 25:9 and a 2-0 lead.

The Vikings got ahead early in the third set. 12:6. The Wolves rallied back to make it 15:19, was not enough as the Vikings finished the game 25:16. Wining 3:0

Player of the Game for Vikings was #20 Addi Wolosuk.

Player of the Game for the Wolves was #11 Carly Thomson.

Next game for the Wolves is Sunday November 14, 2021 in Camrose.

The Wolves would like to thank all the spectators who came out to support them tonight. The crowd was awesome.
