WVB| Kodiaks Come Back After Holiday Break and Defeat SAIT Trojans in Epic Showdown

The Kodiaks put together an impressive home performance during their last matchup, showcasing power, defense, and most of all, resilience in a 3-1 victory over rival Medicine Hat College, and looked to do the same against the SAIT Trojans.

The first set of the match was neck and neck as both teams tried to get a hold on the set and maintain a lead but both teams wouldn't slow down as the lead kept switching. The Trojans came out on top after both teams fought back and forth to get the 2-point lead to take the first set 30-28.

The Kodiaks were able to maintain a lead throughout the second set thanks to the Kodiaks display of great power and defense, leaving the Trojans scrambling to pull something together, but not enough to get back in the set as the Kodiaks took the second set 25-18.

The Kodiaks had the momentum heading into the third set which kept them on top throughout the set. The Trojans tried to make a comeback during the set after a slow start getting within 2 points before the Kodiaks got their feet back underneath them to edge out the Trojans taking the third set 25-21.

The Trojans knew that if they wanted a chance to come out on top of this match, they were going to have to do something about it being down 2 sets to 1 in the match as they had to fight back against the Kodiaks. However, the Kodiaks had more grit than SAIT and were able to hold them off and take the fourth set 25-22 and win the match 3 sets to 1.
