Ooks Lose Close Battle to Wolves

The NAIT Ooks played against GPRC Wolves Friday evening at the NAIT Gymnasium. The Wolves can leave after a close five-set match with a 3-2 win.

The first set was a close one between the Ooks and the Wolves. Anika Dyck, #3 from the Ooks, was able to get the winning point with a solo block against the Wolves. The Ooks were able to win the set 25-21, taking the lead in the match 1-0.

In the second set, the Wolves played a strong game as they could keep possession of the serve. The Wolves were able to win the second set 25-12, tying the match score at 1-1 with the Ooks.

For the third set, the Ooks were able to gain a solid lead against the Wolves. The Wolves, however, were able to come back and make the set a close one. The Ooks were able to win the set 25-23, taking the lead in the match 2-1.

The fourth set was a close one between the Ooks and the Wolves. Both teams had solid attacks and blocks. The Wolves could win the set 25-22 and take the match to a fifth and final deciding set.

The final set between the Ooks and Wolves was intense as the rallies were long, and the score was close. The Wolves win the set 15-13.

The players of the game were #14, Hannah Zurakowski from the Ooks, and #10, Leah Friesen from the Wolves.
