Trojans Split Weekend with Rattlers

The SAIT Trojans headed into the Snake Pit looking for revenge on the Medicine Hat Rattlers. Losing at home, the Trojans looked to even up the season series at 1. The first set started off very well matched with the teams remaining within one all the way until 19 all. From here SAIT was able to open the gap and pull away late winning 25-21

The second set was almost identical to the first with the Rattlers carrying a small lead throughout the majority of the set. A few errors in a row with the teams tied at 20 saw the Trojans once again capitalise on their mistakes. A late flurry saw the visitors take the second set 25-22

The third set looked much different. The home side looked as if they had lost all their gas early on in the set. SAIT went up 8-2 early and did not look back. They kept expanding their lead going up 14-5 on the back of some Grace Coulter kills. SAIT maintained the lead, going up 21-10. A lat flurry from the Rattlers saw them mount the start of a comeback closing it to 18-23 before they ran out of time losing in straight sets 25-20.
