Queens outlast Rattlers in five sets

In what was an outstanding back and forth match from start to finish, the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens outlasted the Medicine Hat College Rattlers three sets to two in ACAC volleyball action.  Playing in front of a large SnakePit crowd, the Rattlers came out fast winning the first set 25-20.  The Queens fought back to tie things up winning set two 25-21.  Red Deer grabbed a one set lead winning the third set 25-17.  The Rattlers stormed back in the fourth set with Medicine Hat taking it 25-17.  The fifth set was back and forth throughout.  The Rattlers jumped in front early but the Queens fought back taking the set 15-9 and the match three sets to two.  With the win, the Queens moved to 2-1 on the season while the Rattlers fell to 1-4.  The ACAC Players of the Game were #9 Jaiden Ferguson from Red Deer and #5 Hailey Adams from Medicine Hat.  The two teams will return to the Snakepit floor tomorrow at 1pm.
