Women's Volleyball TKU Eagles V. CUE Thunder

On October 25, the King's University Eagles Women's volleyball team took on Concordia University Thunder at The King's University gymnasium at 6:00 pm. 

In the first set, the Eagles and Thunder both worked the court with amazing communication and plays throughout the set. The Eagles set the atmosphere of the game with heated kills and aces. Concordia fought back with a fire of an ace from 11 Emma Thompson and 12 Caitlyn Wylie. The Eagles made many great calls and blocks throughout the set with Eagles 12 Emma Scheerle getting an ace. The Eagles won the set 25-15. 

In the second set, again great communication from both teams and fantastic plays which made the crowd sit on the edge of their seats due to the back-and-forth plays. Eagles 3 Ashley Lockwood locked in a fantastic kill and 10 Sydney Seida made a tremendous ace with her fantastic serving skills. Thunder had a great amount of effort put into the set adding in many striking kills. The Eagles won the close-knit set 25-20.

In the third and final, again with fantastic plays and communication from both teams. Eagles 6 Ashley Krause made an amazing block with quick skills on the court. Concordia 5 Sydney Horyn made a great ace with her awesome skills in serving. The Eagles won another close-knit set 25-21.

With high liveliness and an enthusiastic atmosphere on the court, both teams did a fantastic hardworking job in today's game.
