Women's Volleyball TKU Eagles v. Sait Trojans

On November 1, the King's University Eagles Women's Volleyball team took on Sait Trojans at The King's University gymnasium at 6:00 pm. 

In the first set, both teams started with fantastic communication with great plays that had the audience sitting at the edge of their seats in anticipation. Trojans made great kills and 9 Payton Van Driesten made a note-worthy ace. The Eagles made many tremendous blocks, tip points by 8 Samantha Langdon, a kill from 7 Brooke Risselada, and an ace from 10 Sydney Seida. Eagles won the set 25-19.

In the second set, great communication from both teams where again many great plays were set in place making the atmosphere feel heated and tense. Trojans 8 Shadae Black made many great serves, 18 Mia Delaquis made many great sets and tip points along with an ace, and 4 Taryn Corkery made an amazing kill. Eagles made many great plays with 3 Ashley Lockwood making a great tip point and ace, and 22 Emma Laybourne with an amazing kill. Eagles won the set 25-17.

In the third set, it was a tense and close game where both teams pushed as hard as they could on the court with great communication. Trojans 8 Shaedae Black was a powerhouse on the court with quick movements and Trojans made many great tips. Eagles played a tough game of blocks and tips, with amazing serving from 22 Emma Laybourne who made a tremendous ace. Eagles won the set 25-17.
