The Sait Trojans and the Concordia Thunder kick off the first game of the 2020 ACAC Men's Basketball Championships this afternoon at 1:00pm. Both teams brought their A game, resisting to lose momentum throughout all four quarters. 

The Trojans took an early lead after the first quarter, shooting a few successful 3's that leveraged a head start of 24-14. However, the Thunder brought a new level of momentum throughout each quarter, battling hard which helped them catch up to the Trojans. But the score remained in favour of the Trojans as the team had more success making 3's and shooting baskets throughout the course of the game. With nail biting energy between the two teams, the Trojans played a stronger game by the end of final quarter taking a win 90-76. 

The 2020 ACAC Men's Basketball Championship Player of the Game presented by Fady Tadors on behalf of Cargill, was awarded to Thunder player, #6 Korosec and Trojans player, #6 Chambers.
