Vikings beat the Thunder in straight sets

Camrose AB,- The Augustana Vikings took on the Concordia Thunder in the third week on January, and they managed to gain the victory against the Thunder by winning all three sets with a final scoreline of 25-19,25-18,25-23.

Following the women's game the men's game was just as much of a thriller as Augustana took the first set with a score of 25-19, as they never gave up their lead throughout this set. This gave the Vikings a 1-0 lead and the confidence that boosted them into the second set. The second set was just as much of a thriller as the first with a final scoreline of 25-19 in favour of the Vikings, as they secured the second set to create a 2-0 lead.

At this point the Vikings were on the verge of winning straight sets and they brought this momentum into the third set to win it 25-23. The Concordia Thunder put up a great fight in the last set but just fell short to give the Vikings the victory.
