King's Eagles topple the Ambrose Lions in Three

In a hotly contested back and forth match, the North's second seeded King's Eagles advance to tomorrow night's semi-final, of the 2020 South Country Co-op ACAC Women's Volleyball Championships, after a three sets to none victory against the South's third seeded Ambrose Lions.  Although the final score was lopsided, the sets were tightly contested.  Set one saw Ambrose jump out to an early lead that forced the Eagles in to a timeout.  The Eagles responded and were able to take the set 25-23.  Set two saw the Eagles race out to a big lead and they maintained it winning it 25-18.  Set three was again a tight set that saw the Eagles close out the match winning 25-21.  The Elite Promo Marketing ACAC Players of the game were #8 Willow Lewington from the Lions and #12 Anna Pattison from the Eagles.  The Eagles will play in the first semi-final tomorrow night at 6pm while the Lions will return to the court at 1pm tomorrow.
