In the prerace literature for the 2019 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross Country Running National Championships it states: “Considering that the event takes place in Northern Alberta in November, the weather will be unpredictable. Runners should be prepared for all conditions but the Hosts do have snow removal plans if necessary.”

The SAIT Trojans hosted the 2019 Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Cross-Country Running Championships at Confederation Park, and as expected, Lethbridge College’s Sophia Nowicki and Concordia University of Edmonton’s Leonard Chesoo captured the women’s and men’s individual title.

CAMROSE, AB - ACAC Grand Prix #5 dawned on a beautiful day at Stoney Creek Park in Camrose where 158 runners met to compete. Despite the high number of non-ACAC Runners, both the men and women represented the league well, showing significant rankings overall.

Red Deer, September 14, 2019 – Running conditions were nearly ideal at Red Deer College for Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Running Room Grand Prix #2. The 20 degree temperature with a slight breeze helped set up the racers for some very impressive performances.
