Edmonton, October 27, 2016 – GPRC Wolves Coach Chris Morgan was named ACAC Women’s North Coach of the Year while athletes Chelsea Fitzgerald, Kennedy Hall and Brook Robert were voted to the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference (ACAC) All-Conference Soccer teams 2016-17.

Edmonton, Alberta, October 27, 2016 – The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference is pleased to announce that Jim Loughlin, head coach of the Medicine Hat College Rattlers, has been selected by his ACAC coaching peers as the 2016-17 Women’s South Soccer Coach of the Year. The award was presented to Jim at the ACAC Women’s Soccer Championships October 27th in Edmonton.

For the third consecutive year and fifth time in six years, the NAIT Ooks rule supreme in Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference women’s soccer, defeating the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves 2-0 Sunday at the 2016 ACAC Women’s Soccer Championships hosted by Concordia University of Edmonton at Clareview Recreation Centre Soccer.

Ooks, Rattlers, Thunder and Trojans uniforms will be out in full force this weekend as the four respective Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference schools carrying those logos have qualified for both men’s and women’s provincial championships to be hosted in Medicine Hat and Edmonton respectively.
